Job summary

This is Alexander Faraday Limited in Hertfordshire is seeking a Smart Home Automation Engineer to install, commission and maintain integrated smart home systems across high-end residential properties. You will work from technical drawings, diagnose faults and deliver excellent customer service on site.

Projects are varied, with opportunities to work on Crestron/AV installations nationwide. A full UK driving licence is essential and the role offers ongoing career development within a growing

Qualifications

Smart Home Automation Engineer

Location: Hertfordshire

Are you passionate about smart home technology and enjoy bringing innovative systems to life?

We're working with a well-established specialist within the smart home automation sector who is looking to strengthen their engineering team with either an experienced Automation Engineer or a Junior Engineer looking to develop their career.

Working across prestigious residential properties, you'll be involved in delivering bespoke automation and AV solutions, taking projects from installation through to commissioning, servicing and ongoing support. No two projects are the same, giving you the opportunity to work with cutting edge technology in some truly impressive environments.

The Role

You'll be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of integrated smart home systems, ensuring every project is delivered to the highest possible standard. You'll work from technical drawings, diagnose faults, overcome technical challenges and provide excellent customer service while working closely with clients and other trades on site.

Projects are predominantly based across London and the South East, although occasional nationwide and international travel may be required.
