Job summary

CARE CONCERN GROUP LIMITED is seeking a Domestic Assistant at our Westerton care home. You will clean residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas and assist with laundry to maintain a high standard of hygiene and presentation.

This hands-on role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with infection control, health and safety procedures, ensuring a welcoming, safe environment for residents and staff alike.

• A positive and reliable approach.
• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of hygiene and infection control is beneficial.
• Previous experience is welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

Our modern care home provides the highest quality of Residential, Dementia, Nursing & Respite care for 106-residents.

Domestic / Laundry Assistant Contract

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to full time / part time hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Domestic Assistant, you will play an essential role in creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment that supports wellbeing, dignity and comfort. This is a hands on role where your attention to detail and high standards will have a direct impact on daily life.

You will be responsible for cleaning residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, ensuring all spaces are maintained to a high standard of hygiene and presentation. You will also support laundry services, helping to ensure personal belongings are handled with care and returned correctly.

Working closely with the wider team, you will follow infection control, health and safety and cleaning procedures, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and in line with required standards. Your role will contribute to a well organised, respectful and comfortable environment for everyone.
