Job summary

VIVO Defence Services is seeking a Domestic Heating Engineer for RAF Lakenheath, Mildenhall and Feltwell. You will maintain and repair oil and LPG/gas boiler heating systems, schedule tasks via tablet, and ensure compliance, energy efficiency, and reliable operation to meet service levels.

We value qualifications in mechanical/engineering fields, Gas Safe registration, and knowledge of HVAC with a proactive, team-focused approach. DBS/SC clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have a recognised Mechanical or Engineering qualification (HNC, ONC, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
• Gas Safe registration is required.
• Experience with domestic heating systems including oil-fired boilers and gas systems.
• Desirable LPG gas systems qualification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair oil and LPG/gas boiler heating systems across RAF Lakenheath, Mildenhall, and Feltwell.
• Self-schedule tasks via tablet.
• Ensure assets are compliant, energy-efficient, and performing within design parameters.
• Deliver both planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs to meet SLAs.
• Supervise contractors and sub-contractors; ensure health & safety compliance.
• Keep plant rooms and technical spaces safe, tidy and operational; collaborate with colleagues and customers.
