Job summary

MarkMay is seeking a Domestic Gas Breakdown Engineer to join their growing Reading-based operation. You will service and repair boilers and gas appliances in domestic properties, diagnosing faults and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

A strong focus on customer service and reliability is essential. The role offers a stable, full-time permanent contract with a brand-new high-volume contract, a company van, fuel card, pension, and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Gas qualifications: CENWAT, CCN1, HTR1, CKR1 essential.
• Minimum 5 years experience within domestic gas service and breakdown.
• Clean DBS check and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and breakdown work within domestic properties, issuing LGSRs.
• Diagnose and repair boiler systems to a high standard, in line with safety regulations (Reg 26.9).
• Work proactively using your initiative while supporting the team.
