Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is recruiting a Domestic Gas Engineer to service and repair domestic boilers and heating systems across PO postcodes from an office in Emsworth, Hampshire. The role includes an on-call weekend rota and a basic salary of £40,000–£44,000 dependent on experience.

You will be supported by a company van and standard Monday–Friday 8am–5pm hours, with 33 days of holiday incl. bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Domestic gas tickets are essential, including CCN1, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1 and CENWAT.
• Additional tickets in Oil, LPG, F-Gas or heat pumps are desirable.
• Based within commuting distance of the PO postcode area and willing to travel across the area.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, fault-finding and repairs on domestic boilers and heating systems in the PO postcode area.
• Occasionally assist with installations as required.
• Liaise with customers and provide technical support as needed.
• Participate in a 1 in 4 weekend on-call rota with additional payments.

Location: Covering PO postcodes from an office in Emsworth, Hampshire

Salary: £40,000 - £44,000 (DOE)

We currently have an opportunity available with an expanding plumbing & heating contractor based in Hampshire, who are looking to expand their workforce along with expanding into the renewable heating sector.

Domestic Gas Engineer Job Overview

• Completing maintenance, service, attending breakdowns, fault-finding and repairs on domestic boilers and heating systems across the PO postcode area within the private housing sector
• Occasionally assist with installations as & when needed
• Liaising with customers and providing technical support where necessary
• Working on a 1 in every 4 weekend call out rota (additional payments included)

Domestic Gas Engineer Requirements

• Background of completing servicing, fault-finding and repairs on domestic heating systems including boilers, radiators, cylinders and associated systems
• Domestic Gas tickets essential, including CCN1, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1 and CENWAT
• Any additional ticket/qualifications including Oil, LPG, F-Gas or heat pumps would be highly desirable
• Based within a commutable distance of the PO postcode area (Portsmouth across to Bognor Regis), and happy to travel to sites across the area
• Holding a full UK driving licence
