Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Domestic Gas Engineer to cover PO postcodes from an office in Emsworth, Hampshire.

You will service and repair domestic boilers and heating systems across the PO area, with occasional installations and a 1-in-4 weekend on-call rota; a company van is provided and on-call payments are included.

Qualifications

• Background in servicing, fault-finding and repairs on domestic heating systems (boilers, radiators, cylinders)
• CCN1, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, CENWAT gas tickets essential
• Oil/LPG/heat pump tickets desirable
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs on domestic boilers/heating systems across PO postcodes from Emsworth
• Attend breakdowns and fault-finding tasks
• Assist with installations when required
• Liaise with customers and provide technical support
• Participate in a 1-in-4 weekend on-call rota (on-call enhanced payments)

Domestic Gas Engineer

Location: Covering PO postcodes from an office in Emsworth, Hampshire

Salary: £40,000 - £44,000 (DOE)

We currently have an opportunity available with an expanding plumbing & heating contractor based in Hampshire, who are looking to expand their workforce along with expanding into the renewable heating sector.

Job Overview

Completing maintenance, service, attending breakdowns, fault-finding and repairs on domestic boilers and heating systems across the PO postcode area within the private housing sector.

Occasionally assist with installations as & when needed

Liaising with customers and providing technical support where necessary

Working on a 1 in every 4 weekend call out rota (additional payments included)

Requirements

Background of completing servicing, fault-finding and repairs on domestic heating systems including boilers, radiators, cylinders and associated systems.

Domestic Gas tickets essential, including CCN1, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1 and CENWAT.

Any additional ticket/qualifications including Oil, LPG, F-Gas or heat pumps would be highly desirable.

Based within a commutable distance of the PO postcode area (Portsmouth across to Bognor Regis), and happy to travel to sites across the area.

Holding a full UK driving licence.

Basic salary £40,000 - £44,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)

• 1 in 4 weekend on call rota (Friday through to Sunday), on call bonus paid
