Job summary

Mark May is seeking an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer to join the team covering London and surrounding areas. You will carry out boiler installations, heating system maintenance, radiator and heating control upgrades, and gas pipe alterations across domestic properties.

The role offers a salary of £40,000 to £45,000 DOE plus benefits with OTE £50k+. You will work Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, in a growing business servicing social housing with long-term career opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Relevant domestic gas qualifications (ACS).
  • Experience in domestic boiler installation, servicing and repair.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience with heating systems, radiators and heating controls.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Social housing experience desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out domestic boiler installations and replacements.
  • Servicing, maintaining and repairing domestic heating systems.
  • Diagnosing and resolving heating and hot water faults.
  • Installing and upgrading radiators and heating controls.
  • Carrying out gas pipe alterations and associated gas works.
  • Fault-finding on boilers, heating systems and controls.
  • Carrying out safety checks and ensuring all work meets current gas regulations and manufacturer requirements.
  • Working within occupied properties while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.
