Job summary

Magenta International is seeking an experienced Electrician to join a leading property maintenance contractor delivering essential services across Essex. The role involves working in occupied residential properties, performing electrical maintenance, testing, inspection, repair, and installation tasks to high standards while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician with experience in domestic maintenance, repairs, or social housing environments.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Commitment to safety, compliance and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations, repairs, testing and maintenance within domestic properties.
• Undertake planned and reactive electrical works to a high standard.
• Complete site-specific risk assessments and adhere to health and safety procedures.
• Inspect, diagnose and rectify electrical faults and non-compliant installations.
• Replace and repair sockets, switches, lighting and fittings.
• Complete routine servicing and testing of electrical systems and equipment.
• Maintain clear records of completed works.
• Ensure compliance with current regulations and best practice.
