Job summary

Magenta International is seeking an experienced Electrician to join a busy property maintenance contractor in Greater London. You will work in occupied residential properties performing electrical installations, testing, inspection and repair to high standards while complying with safety regulations.

Essentials include 18th Edition, AM2, City & Guilds 2391, a full UK driving licence and DBS check, with strong fault-finding and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• AM2 Qualification.
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations, repairs, testing and maintenance in domestic properties.
• Undertake planned and reactive electrical works to a high standard.
• Complete site-specific risk assessments and follow health and safety procedures.
• Inspect, diagnose and rectify electrical faults and non-compliant installations.
• Replace sockets, switches, lighting and fittings.
• Complete routine servicing and testing of electrical systems and equipment.
• Accurately interpret work orders and maintain records of completed works.
• Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations, legislation and industry best practice.
• Deliver excellent customer service while working within occupied homes.
