Job summary

Ian Williams Ltd. is seeking a fully qualified Domestic Electrician to join the Capital (planned refurbishment) team.

The role covers residential properties across Coventry, Warwick, Birmingham and Leicester, offering stability, career growth and a focus on safety and quality. Qualifications

• A Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation or equivalent; 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and AM2 are essential.
• Competence with Part P Building Regulations and NICEIC/NAPIT Competent Person Scheme registration.
• Initial verification, testing and certification of domestic electrical installations; City & Guilds 2391-52 or equivalent desirable.

Responsibilities

• Complete domestic electrical works as part of planned refurbishment programmes in occupied homes.
• Remove, relocate and install sockets, switches, lighting and related equipment.
• Upgrade consumer units and protective devices where required.
• Test, certify and record completed electrical work in accordance with regulations and company procedures.
• Carry out testing and inspection within your competence level.
• Maintain high health and safety standards and document all actions.
