Job summary

Orton Group in the West Midlands is seeking a Domestic Electrician to join their team. You will undertake domestic electrical installations, rewires and upgrades, including inspection and testing where required.

Applicants should have City & Guilds qualifications (2382, 236, 2391 or equivalent), be computer literate, knowledgeable of current H&S laws, and hold a full driving licence. The role includes a company vehicle, pension and other benefits.

Domestic Electrician

Salary: £15 - £21 per hour

Vacancy Type: Full time positions available for approved electricians to carry out work in West Midlands. Positions within Social Housing Sector available.

Orton Group are looking for a Domestic Electrician to join their team.

Must have significant amount of recent experience working on domestic electrical installations, rewires and upgrades preferably including inspection and testing.

Minimum requirements for the role:

• City & Guilds 2382 17th Edition wiring regulations (18th edition )
• City & Guilds 236 part 1 & 2 or equivalent.
• City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent.
• Computer literate and competent in the use of Word/Excel/Outlook.
• Knowledgeable of current H & S legislation.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
• Supervisor experience.
• Flexible approach to working hours dependent on the needs of the business.
• Strong team player with the ability to work unsupervised.
• Candidate must have a full driving license.
