Job summary

3D Personnel Ltd is seeking a Domestic Electrician to work on a prison site in Millom, LA18 4NA. Role is part-time, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, PAYE £21.50–£25.50 per hour, with the possibility of a permanent opportunity.

Responsibilities include testing and inspecting domestic electrical installations, maintaining and repairing circuits, and replacing consumer units as needed. A current UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Test and inspect electrical installations in domestic properties to 17th Edition standards.
• Maintain and repair electrical installations according to regulations.
• Replace circuits and consumer units, including full rewiring.
• Comply with Health and Safety policies and legislation.
• Strictly adhere to company health and safety policies.
• Take direction from management and Central Coordination Team.
• Carry out electrical repairs and testing in occupied and vacant properties.
• Undertake out-of-hours callout duties.

• Maintain and repair electrical installations in accordance with the relevant regulations.
• Replace circuits and consumer units, including the full rewiring of properties.
• Comply with Company Health and Safety Policy, the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, and other statutory legislation.
• Strictly adhere to company health and safety and operational policies.
• Comply with instructions and directives from line management and the Central Coordination Team.
• Carry out electrical repairs and testing in both occupied and vacant properties.
• Undertake out-of-hours callout duties in accordance with rota requirements.

Education

City & Guilds (C&G) 2391 Inspection and Testing, or equivalent C&G 2394 & 2395.

C&G 2382 - 17th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations.

C&G Installation Certificate 2360 / 2351, or equivalent Part 2 or NVQ.

C&G 2393 - Desirable Part P Qualification.

Asbestos Awareness Training.

C&G 2377 - PAT Testing Course.

Current full UK driving licence

From £21.50 - £25.50 paye
Full time temporary with a potential permanent opportunity.
Security vetting due to location of the work.
