Job summary

3D Personnel Ltd is recruiting a Domestic Electrician to work at a prison site in Millom. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with pay from £21.50 to £25.50 PAYE.

The role is full-time temporary with potential for permanency, and includes security vetting due to site location. Responsibilities include testing and inspecting domestic electrical installations, maintaining and repairing systems, replacing circuits and consumer units, and ensuring compliance with health and safety policies.

Qualifications

• C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing, or equivalent C&G 2394 & 2395 required.
• C&G 2382 - 17th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations required.
• C&G Installation Certificate 2360/2351, or equivalent Part 2 or NVQ.
• C&G 2393 Part P qualification desirable.
• Asbestos Awareness Training required.
• C&G 2377 PAT Testing course required.
• Current full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Test and inspect electrical installations in domestic properties in accordance with the 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations, as amended.
• Maintain and repair electrical installations in accordance with regulations.
• Replace circuits and consumer units, including full rewiring of properties.
• Comply with Health and Safety policies and statutory legislation.
• Adhere to company health and safety and operational policies.
• Follow instructions from line management and Central Coordination Team.
• Carry out electrical repairs and testing in occupied and vacant properties.
• Undertake out-of-hours callout duties as rota requires.

City & Guilds (C&G) 2391 Inspection and Testing, or equivalent C&G 2394 & 2395

C&G 2382 - 17th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations

C&G Installation Certificate 2360 / 2351, or equivalent Part 2 or NVQ

3D Personnel are currently recruiting for a Domestic Electrician to work within a Prison in Millom LA18 4NA

The Role

Monday to Friday
8am to 5pm
From £21.50 - £25.50 paye
Full time temporary with a potential permanent opportunity.
Security vetting due to location of the work.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Test and inspect electrical installations in domestic properties in accordance with the 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations, as amended from time to time.
• Maintain and repair electrical installations in accordance with the relevant regulations.
• Replace circuits and consumer units, including the full rewiring of properties.
• Comply with Company Health and Safety Policy, the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, and other statutory legislation.
• Strictly adhere to company health and safety and operational policies.
• Comply with instructions and directives from line management and the Central Coordination Team.
• Carry out electrical repairs and testing in both occupied and vacant properties.
• Undertake out-of-hours callout duties in accordance with rota requirements.
