We are recruiting experienced Domestic Electricians qualified to:

• 2365 Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation (or equivalent electrician qualification)
• BS7671:2018 Wiring Regulations for 18th Edition
• 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification

Gilmartins work in social housing and provide reactive repairs for local authorities and housing associations. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in social housing.

The role requires work and travel in the Home Counties area (post codes MK, SG, LU, HP, AL, OX, SL, and RG). Properties for this well-known Housing Association are situated across these areas, so regular travel is a requirement of the job.

Responsibilities for the Electrician:

• Carry out property repairs and maintenance works in social housing
• Work according to Scope of Works on PDA for each job

Requirements for the Job:

• Full UK manual driving license (not EU license, not automatic license)
• Own tools
• Fully qualified with copies of certificates available
• Experience working in social housing
• DBS certificate
• ECS card (ideally)

Hours of work are 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, with call-outs as required once every 4 weeks. On-call duty is from Monday to Sunday, 5pm to 1am, with a payment of £35-£50 per call-out.
