Job summary
SDG Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Ltd is seeking an experienced Domestic & Commercial Heating Engineer to join a growing team working in Beds, Bucks, Cambs & Herts. The role covers installation, service and repair of heating systems across domestic and commercial premises, with a strong emphasis on fault-finding and customer service.
Applicants should have relevant gas qualifications, Full UK driving licence and a solid health and safety understanding.
Qualifications
- Essentially requires commercial boiler experience with domestic/commercial heating systems.
- Gas qualifications and related industry certifications are required.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities are essential.
Responsibilities
- Install, service, maintain and repair domestic and commercial heating systems.
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
- Work on boilers, heating controls, pumps, cylinders and related equipment.
- Complete RAMS and site documentation following safety procedures.
- Identify additional works and report to the office/client.
- Liaise professionally with customers and other contractors.
