Job description

As part of the role, you will be required to:

• Keep our facilities clean to NHS standards
• Monitor and maintain stock
• Lone work
• Complete moving and handling tasks

Main duties of the job

You will provide a vital role in maintaining a quality cleaning service to the Health Centre and adhering to NHS Cleaning Standards. You will be using approved working methods with equipment, cleaning materials, and work procedures for the following:

• Sanitary areas, furniture, fixtures, and fittings at high and low levels
• Maintain carpeting areas, hard flooring, and upholstery
• Ensure high standards of cleaning of furniture, fixtures, and fittings in clinical and office areas

Previous cleaning experience is desirable; however, full training will be provided.

You must be open and honest, able to work using your own initiative, and work well within a team.

You must have good communication skills, be receptive to feedback, and eager to learn.

Basic IT skills would be advantageous for completing competency and compliance training online.
