Job summary

Holmes Care Group is looking for a Domestic Assistant at Craigielea on a 30-hour contract. You will help keep the home clean, safe and welcoming for residents and visitors, with duties covering cleaning, laundry assistance and dining room support.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the premises.
• Clean resident rooms, communal and staff areas, toilets and bathrooms.
• Disposal of refuse and waste; ensure bins are maintained.
• Assist with laundry tasks.
• Assist with dining room preparation for meals.

What does the day of a Domestic Assistant look like?

Our Domestic staff will ensure our homes are kept clean, presentable, and safe for residents and visitors:

• - To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the premises
• - To clean resident rooms, communal and staff areas as well as toilets and bathrooms
• - Disposal of refuse/waste ensuring waste bins are maintained.
• - Assist with laundry tasks.
• - Assisting with dining room preparation for mealtimes
• - Develop a positive relationship with all residents, staff and visitors by becoming an important member of the team
