Job summary

Beaumont in Northern Ireland is seeking a part-time Domestic Assistant (17 hours per week) to help keep resident areas clean, safe and homely. You will support residents, visitors and staff with a friendly, respectful approach.

Full training is provided, with on-site support and opportunities for career development. The role offers flexible shifts on a rota, free uniform and parking, and an employer pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar environment is preferred.
• Willingness to undergo full training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out duties to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
• Understand cleaning requirements of differing communal and individual locations.
• Develop positive relationships with residents, staff, families and visitors.
• Help residents maintain independence and sense of value.

About the role

A Domestic Assistant will:

• carry out all of their duties to ensure that we always provide a high level of cleanliness

• You will understand the cleaning requirements of differing communal and individual locations in the home along with the equipment and the properties of cleaning materials required to fulfil the tasks.

• You will develop positive relationships with residents, staff, residents’ families and visitors’

• Help to support residents to maintain their independence and sense of value

• Work safely within company policies, seeking advice and guidance when necessary.

• Your caring nature and positive attitude, will allow you to give the best possible service to the residents in our care

• As a team player working well with others you enjoy communication, provide the energy and hard work needed for a changing environment.
