Job summary

Stanely Park Care Home in Paisley (Balgonie area) is seeking a Domestic Assistant to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents. You will clean rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, assist with laundry, and follow infection control procedures to ensure high hygiene standards.

The role offers full- or part-time hours, with shifts 8am–2:30pm, and benefits including PVG paid, pension, uniform provided, and 5.6 weeks of annual leave.

Stanely Park Care Home, located in Paisley’s Balgonie area, is a warm and welcoming 40-bed home, recently refurbished to offer a modern, comfortable environment. We provide high-quality residential and respite care in a homely setting where residents feel safe, supported, and valued. Domestic Assistant Contract

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to full time or part time hours per week - shifts are 8am - 2.30pm
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Domestic Assistant, you will play an essential role in creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment that supports wellbeing, dignity and comfort. This is a hands on role where your attention to detail and high standards will have a direct impact on daily life.

You will be responsible for cleaning residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, ensuring all spaces are maintained to a high standard of hygiene and presentation. You will also support laundry services, helping to ensure personal belongings are handled with care and returned correctly.

Working closely with the wider team, you will follow infection control, health and safety and cleaning procedures, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and in line with required standards. Your role will contribute to a well organised, respectful and comfortable environment for everyone.
