Job summary

Compass Group UK&I, ESS – Defence, Energy and Government Services, is recruiting a part-time Cleaner to join our defence facilities cleaning team. The role is 12 hours per week, contracted to 50.2 weeks per year, with Sat and Sun morning shifts.

You will help maintain safe and hygienic environments for clients and customers across Defence sites. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, a hands-on mindset, and a flexible approach.

Responsibilities

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.
