Templeton House Care Home in Ayr is seeking a Domestic Assistant to help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents. You will clean residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas and support laundry services, ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation.
You will work with the wider team, following infection control and safety procedures. The role offers flexible hours, PVG, pension and uniform, with 5.6 weeks of annual leave for full-time contracts.

As Domestic Assistant, you will play an essential role in creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment that supports wellbeing, dignity and comfort. This is a hands on role where your attention to detail and high standards will have a direct impact on daily life.
You will be responsible for cleaning residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, ensuring all spaces are maintained to a high standard of hygiene and presentation. You will also support laundry services, helping to ensure personal belongings are handled with care and returned correctly.
Working closely with the wider team, you will follow infection control, health and safety and cleaning procedures, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and in line with required standards. Your role will contribute to a well organised, respectful and comfortable environment for everyone.
