Job summary

Dudley Council is seeking an experienced domestic abuse coordinator (fixed term 12 months) to help develop services for victims of domestic abuse and to strengthen the Homelessness Prevention & Response Team in Dudley.

The role focuses on preventing homelessness in partnership with other agencies, promoting multiagency coordination, and mapping housing pathways for survivors, with an emphasis on data recording and reporting.

Qualifications

• Housing and homelessness knowledge (must-have)
• Experience supporting vulnerable adults (must-have)

Responsibilities

• Prevent homelessness in partnership with other agencies
• Promote multiagency coordination
• Map housing and homelessness pathways for domestic abuse survivors
• Record and manage data, write reports and present data
• Promote and develop services for victims of domestic abuse
• Support case managers in determining DMBC’s legal responsibility for homeless cases
• Manage a personal caseload, preventing homelessness wherever possible
• Be an effective member of the Homelessness Prevention and Response Team with high-quality customer service
