Job summary

Peregrine House in Tottenham is seeking dedicated cleaners to maintain comfortable, hygienic living spaces for residents. You will clean rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas, ensuring every space remains odour-free and compliant with safety guidelines.

In this role, attention to detail, reliability, and discretion are essential as you follow COSHH and care standards while supporting a warm, welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning environments is preferred.
• COSHH awareness or training is beneficial.
• Confidentiality and discretion are important in care settings.

Responsibilities

• Clean allocated rooms, furniture and fittings to standard.
• Clean bathrooms and toilets with hygiene guidelines.
• Keep rooms odour-free and presentable.
• Follow COSHH and health & safety policies.
• Handle waste bags and disposal as required.
• Uphold care standards regulations and company policies.
• Maintain client and business confidentiality at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To clean all allocated rooms including furniture, fittings, fabric, carpets and equipment
• Cleaning the bathrooms and toilets, with particular attention to guidelines for the control of germs and infestation
• Ensure that rooms are odour free
• To be aware of the health and safety statement of the COSHH statement
• To deal with the waste bags and their prescribed disposal
• Be familiar with the required care standards regulations governing your job
• Maintain client and business confidentiality at all times
  

Experience in a similar role/ Experience in a similar industry preferred although not essential
