Job summary

Gold Care Homes' Broxbourne Nursing Home in the Lea Valley area is seeking a dedicated cleaner to maintain 77 bedrooms and communal spaces to a high standard of cleanliness.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms and bathrooms, ensuring rooms are odour-free, handling waste according to COSHH guidelines, and maintaining client and business confidentiality. Prior experience preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow hygiene standards and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• To clean all allocated rooms including furniture, fittings, fabric, carpets and equipment.
• Cleaning bathrooms and toilets with attention to germ control.
• Ensure that rooms are odour free.
• Adhere to COSHH safety statements and disposal procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of client and business information.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To clean all allocated rooms including furniture, fittings, fabric, carpets and equipment
• Cleaning the bathrooms and toilets, with particular attention to guidelines for the control of germs and infestation
• Ensure that rooms are odour free
• To be aware of the health and safety statement of the COSHH statement
• To deal with the waste bags and their prescribed disposal
• Be familiar with the required care standards regulations governing your job
• Maintain client and business confidentiality at all times

Experience in a similar role/ Experience in a similar industry preferred although not essential
