Job summary

Newcastle Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Domain Lead to join the Cell Pathology Laboratory and drive digital transformation through the Clinisys LIMS project, in collaboration with regional NHS laboratories. The role emphasizes pathology workflows, change management and innovative informatics within a 24-month fixed-term post.

Qualifications

• Master's level or equivalent in IT, health or related field, or extensive relevant experience.
• MSc in Biomedical Science or Fellowship of Institute of Biomedical Science.
• State registration with HCPC.
• PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent project leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, implement and integrate Clinisys LIMS and related digital solutions.
• Coordinate technical and scientific oversight of the proposed design.
• Ensure workflows meet service needs and clinical standards in pathology.
• Support regional collaboration and training during implementation.
