Job summary

Newcastle Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join the Integrated Laboratory Medicine team. You will help design, test, implement the Clinisys LIMS and related digital solutions within Microbiology/Virology, supporting a busy pathology service.

The role is 24 months fixed-term, full-time (37.5 hours per week) with secondment opportunities. Knowledge of LIMS, digital transformation, and MS Office/Visio are key; PRINCE2 or equivalent project management

Qualifications

• Experience of LIMS in a busy laboratory environment.
• Experience in business analysis and requirements gathering.
• Experience of digital transformation projects in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, testing, implementation and integration of the Clinisys LIMS and related digital solutions.
• Develop safe, practical digital workflows to streamline processes and support patient care.
• Support quality and compliance requirements and training for staff during implementation.
