Job summary

A Personal Assistant is needed to support a 25-year-old man living in Barry with Autism, depression and anxiety. The role focuses on improving socialisation and managing anxiety to help him live as independently as possible in his own home.

The PA will enjoy walking, provide emotional support and reassurance, and be comfortable with two dogs at home. The role requires an average 6 hours per week with a pay rate of £15.00 per hour plus 40p mileage.

Qualifications

• Experience providing social support and companionship to adults.
• Ability to support anxiety management and calm communication.
• Comfort with dogs in the home and in community settings.

Responsibilities

• Support socialisation and reduce anxiety in daily activities.
• Provide emotional reassurance and safe, compassionate care.
• Walks and gentle supervision for approximately 6 hours per week.
