Job summary

Derby College Group at Broomfield Hall is seeking a proactive Curriculum Support Assistant for the Dog Grooming team. You will assist in delivering the curriculum, keep the salon clean and well-organised, and support animal welfare within the learning environment.

You will support grooming sessions, perform stock checks, maintain equipment and ensure health and safety compliance while working with staff and students to uphold high standards.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Dog Grooming Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience delivering excellent customer service
• CPD knowledge and First Aid is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operation of the Dog Grooming Salon
• Assist practical grooming sessions and promote animal welfare
• Carry out stock checks and maintain equipment
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed
• Promote the salon through events and community activities
