Job summary

A leading manufacturer in Bridgwater seeks a Document Controller / Technical Administrator to support the new product development team. This role involves administrative and analytical tasks, maintaining recording systems, and liaising with various teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, particularly in quality and development, complemented by a Science or Maths qualification.

Document Controller / Technical Administrator - Bridgwater, Somerset

GBP28,000 - GBP32,000

Working Hours: Monday - Friday

Our client, a leading manufacturer with a turnover of GBP50 million, is dedicated to producing high-quality products and is expanding into various export markets. They are seeking a Document Controller / Technical Administrator to join their new product development team.

Role & Responsibilities:
  1. Support the team with administrative and analytical tasks.
  2. Create and maintain filing and recording systems for all work streams.
  3. Arrange trial dates and times with the Operations and Planning teams.
  4. Collect samples, accurately record sample data, including production date & time, product codes, and trial information for the trial library.
  5. Coordinate meetings, including booking rooms and refreshments.
  6. Work with the Procurement team to purchase materials for trials.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  1. HND or similar qualification with a Science or Maths Degree.
  2. Experience in a manufacturing environment within quality, research, and development departments.
  3. Analytical mindset capable of interpreting data.
  4. Ability to interpret complex technical information.
