We are seeking a meticulous, detail-driven Document Controller to join our growing team of remote professionals. In this role, you'll be responsible for the formatting, quality control, and final delivery of critical clinical and regulatory documents.
You must have advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Word, with an in-depth understanding of style sets, formatting tools, and document automation. A great eye for detail and the ability to perform thorough QC checks are essential. The ideal candidate thrives in a structured environment and understands the importance of accuracy and consistency.
Responsibilities:
Apply and maintain style sets and templates across a wide range of document types
Perform detailed Quality Control (QC) checks, including formatting, consistency, alignment, referencing, and grammar
Format, update, and finalize documents such as protocols, clinical study reports, regulatory submissions, and other deliverables
Utilize advanced Microsoft Word tools including style panes, sections, TOCs, cross-references, headers/footers, and macros
Ensure documents comply with company and client style guides
Maintain accurate version control and document tracking
Collaborate with writers, editors, and project managers to deliver error-free, client-ready files
Requirements:
3+ years experience in document control, document formatting, or publishing support
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word (style sets, formatting tools, review features, and layout design)
Strong working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Proven experience conducting thorough QC checks on technical or professional documents
Extremely detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written English and communication skills
Ability to work remotely and independently
Bonus: Experience in clinical research, scientific writing, or regulated industries is a plus
