Job description

Shift Times: Monday - Friday, 37 Hours

Pay Rate: £16.88

Location: Sizewell, Leiston IP16 4UR

Duration: Temporary role until the end of the year with a possibility of extension

Job Purpose / Overview

The role of Document Controller provides the station with a qualified and experienced resource in documentation control and records management. The Document Controller operates within the priorities and objectives set by the team leader.

Principal Accountabilities
  1. Carry out activities in compliance with document and records procedures to ensure management meets site licence, security, statutory, and company requirements, while maintaining customer focus.
  2. Review, load, and maintain documents on the Asset Management Suite (AMS) / Controlled Document Management System (CDMS) to ensure availability of approved documents.
  3. Secure hard copy documents and records to ensure they are safely stored and easily retrievable.
  4. Maintain site technical documents for accessibility.
  5. Inform registered copyholders of new document issues.
  6. Respond to internal and external requests concerning documents, respecting copyright and security classifications.
Qualifications and Skills
  • GCSE/National Qualification standards (or equivalent), including English and Mathematics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of documentation and record management systems is desirable but not essential.
