Digital Data Foundation is recruiting a Document Automation Specialist for a leading Legal Firm in Manchester or Leeds. You will build, test and maintain automated documents using Contract Express and HighQ, and train lawyers to markup documents for automation.

This role suits a Paralegal transitioning into Legal Technology, requiring a degree and strong attention to detail, with excellent communication and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level
• Ideally experience in a legal environment
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to build trust with senior stakeholders

James Carrera of Digital Data Foundation has been retained to source a Document Automation Specialist, for a leading Legal Firm, the role will suit a Paralegal that would like to move into a Legal Technology focused role.

Responsibilities

• Creating, maintaining and updating automated products and solutions using Contract Express, HighQ (or similar tools)
• Testing automated documents, correcting errors and recording changes
• Train users around the business on how to automate documents
• Provide training to lawyers on how to mark-up a document for automation
• Advise on best practice for document automation
• Identify opportunities where automation can assist our clients
• Running regular reports on the use of the service and creating management information

Experience

Educated to degree level and ideally experience of working in a legal environment

• Excellent attention to detail and analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellence organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities, working to sometimes conflicting timescales in a fast-paced and challenging environment;
• The ability to build trust and rapport to develop effective business relationships, often with senior stakeholders in the business.

Desirable:

technical proficiency in using Contract Express
