Job Description:

A Legal Document Automation Manager opportunity has arisen with a London-based Law Firm to join their team focused on Legal Tech innovation.

About the Legal Document Automation Manager role:

  • You will join a team dedicated to firm-wide innovation within the Legal Tech space, showcasing your expertise in Legal Document Automation to drive pioneering change.
  • This role is ideal for someone curious about legal tech innovation. You will be responsible for the overall Document Automation strategy, exploring and recommending new ways to optimize Document Automation using technology (e.g., new platforms, holistic solutions).
  • The firm is embracing GenAI, and you will have opportunities to participate in related projects, particularly regarding its impact on Legal Document Automation, including presenting insights and recommendations.
  • In addition to internal projects, you will manage external relationships with Document Automation software and service providers.
  • You will oversee a Document Automation developer, so leadership experience or interest is required. The role involves hands-on development, including creating templates and managing change requests.

Skills required for the Legal Document Automation Manager role:

  • Expertise in developing Legal Document Automation products (e.g., HotDocs, Contract Express, or similar)
  • A passion for legal tech innovation, especially in Document Automation
  • Experience with IT innovation projects in Legal Tech within a professional services environment

This role offers remote working with a requirement to be in London once a month to engage with stakeholders and the team.
