Cavaghan & Gray, part of the 2 Sisters Food Group, based in Carlisle, is looking for an operative to support the transfer of products from Production to the Riverbank Distribution Centre. The role involves working closely with production and reporting to the Senior Dock Operative.

Key duties include palletising, TEL labelling, checking PI sheets, and transferring products using SAP; you will communicate overs/shorts to the Senior Dock Operative and keep areas clean.

Support a consistent, accurate and efficient transfer service of products from Production to the Riverbank Distribution Centre.

An operative role working closely with production and reporting to the Senior Dock Operative.

The main role is consistent, accurate and efficient transfer of products between production and distribution.

In EW3 there is an incoming goods dock. This differs from all the other docks where they provide products outgoing only.

Qualifications

• Experience in a despatch or incoming dock environment.
• Experience of SAP system desirable (training will be provided).
• Health & Safety awareness.

Additional Information

• Ensure efficient palletisation of products received from production.
• Carry out tray end labelling (TELs) and ensure labels are generated and trays are labelled accurately.
• Verify product information sheets (PI sheets) and update as necessary.
• Transfer products between Production, Despatch and Riverbank distribution centre using the SAP system.
• Communicate overs/shorts and other relevant information to the Senior Dock Operative and relevant Backpacking team member.
• Report any inaccuracies in date life data to the Senior Dock Operative.
• Maintain clean as you go.
