Job summary

Source BioScience, comprising Source LDPath and Source Genomics, seeks a laboratory scientist with molecular biology experience to join our genomics and multiomics services. You will perform DNA extraction, sample processing for sequencing, data analysis, and contribute to other projects while maintaining strict confidentiality and quality standards.

The role involves shift work with core hours 9 am to midnight; you'll work across departments as needed and uphold the company safety policies.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with DNA sequencing, genotyping, and robotics is advantageous.
• Meticulous record keeping and data confidentiality are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tasks following SOPs, independently or with the team.
• Observe and report problems with potential hardware or sample issues.
• Communicate with customers and provide technical support to the commercial department.
• Maintain quality standards and meticulous records; prepare buffers and reagents.
• Conduct data analysis and participate in other research projects.
• Cover other departments within the facility as required.
