Job summary

CRA Consulting is seeking a Divorce & Family Solicitor with 2+ years’ PQE to join a well-established Family team. The role offers flexibility to be based from one of the firm’s offices across the region, with the chance to grow your client base and fee-earning capabilities.

You will handle a private family caseload, focusing on divorce and financial matters, and provide high-quality, pragmatic advice throughout often challenging periods for clients.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ PQE in Family Law, with focus on divorce and financial matters.
• Experience managing own caseload with appropriate supervision.
• Strong client care and communication skills.
• Commercially aware and committed to excellent client service.
• Comfortable handling both contentious and non-contentious family matters.
• Willing to work across different firm offices in the region.

Responsibilities

• Handle a caseload of private family matters, focusing on divorce and financial issues.
• Provide high-quality, pragmatic advice to clients throughout challenging periods.
• Develop fee-earning and business development skills while collaborating with the Family team.
• Negotiate and resolve disputes, progressing matters through court when required.
• Manage cases from instruction to final resolution with professional supervision as needed.

A well-established and highly regarded law firm is looking to appoint a Divorce & Family Solicitor with 2+ years’ PQE to join its growing Family team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop their career within a supportive and established family law practice, with the flexibility to be based from one of the firm’s offices depending on the successful candidate’s location and preference.

The Role

You will handle your own caseload of predominantly private family matters, with a particular focus on divorce and financial matters. The role will involve providing high-quality, pragmatic advice to clients throughout what can often be a challenging period in their lives.

Your caseload is likely to include:

• Divorce and separation matters
• Cohabitation and separation agreements
• Pre- and post-nuptial agreements
• Advice relating to property and financial arrangements
• Negotiation and dispute resolution
• Conducting matters through to court proceedings where required

You will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced members of the Family team while continuing to build your own client base and develop your fee-earning and business development skills.

About You

The successful candidate will:

• Be a qualified solicitor with 2+ years’ PQE
• Have solid experience within Family Law, particularly divorce and financial matters
• Be confident managing their own caseload with appropriate supervision
• Have strong client care and communication skills
• Be commercially aware and committed to providing an excellent client service
• Be comfortable handling both contentious and non-contentious family matters
• Be keen to develop their career within a well-established Family team
