Henderson Scott is seeking an experienced Family Lawyer to join its Fareham-based Family team. The role is 2-7 PQE with a full-time, permanent contract and a remuneration package of £52,000-£68,000 DOE.

You will manage a varied private family caseload, including divorce, financial matters and children's arrangements, providing clear, practical legal advice and building strong client relationships.

A well-established and highly regarded regional law firm is seeking an experienced Family Lawyer to join its established Family team in Fareham.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Family Solicitor at 2-7 PQE to join a supportive and experienced team dealing with a broad range of private family matters.

The team is committed to providing clients with clear, constructive and compassionate advice, helping them navigate complex family issues while achieving the best possible outcome.

The Role

You will handle a varied private family caseload, including:

• Divorce and dissolution of civil partnerships
• Financial matters arising from separation and divorce
• Property and financial disputes
• Pension and business interests
• High-net-worth financial matters
• Consent orders and variations
• Separation agreements
• Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements
• Cohabitee disputes and agreements
• Children's arrangements
• Parental responsibility and contact matters
• Relocation and removal from the country
• Grandparents' rights
• Domestic abuse and related matters

You will also:

• Take responsibility for your own caseload
• Provide clear and practical legal advice
• Build strong relationships with clients
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the department
• Maintain excellent standards of client care
• Contribute to the growth and development of the Family team

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2-7 years' PQE with solid Family Law experience
• Experience handling a broad private family caseload
• Experience across divorce, financial and/or children matters
• Strong technical and legal knowledge
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• The ability to manage matters independently
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• A professional and empathetic approach
• The ability to communicate complex issues clearly
• A collaborative and team-focused approach
