Job summary

W M Donald Ltd based in Netherley, Scotland, seeks a Divisional Finance Controller to lead financial control and reporting for the Division. You will work closely with the Finance Director/CFO to provide accurate insights and ensure robust financial processes.

You will own month-end close, budgeting, cash flow management and regulatory compliance, driving efficiency, profitability and high-quality financial information across the division.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant with CA/ACCA/CIMA designation.
• Experience in financial control and divisional reporting.
• Strong knowledge of contract accounting, WIP and % completion.
• Experience with month-end close, audits and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Take financial control and reporting of the Division.
• Prepare, review and deliver monthly management accounts by deadlines.
• Provide analysis of divisional performance: turnover, margins, cash flow.
• Lead month-end close with journals, accruals, provisions and reconciliations.
• Review budgets and variances; implement corrective actions.
• Support cash flow, working capital, debtors/creditors management.
• Collaborate with operational teams to improve efficiency and profitability.
