Job summary

Fife Council is seeking a Divisional Assessor for the Fife Assessor Service. The role focuses on efficient work allocation, training of technical staff, and specialist property surveys for the Valuation Roll and Council Tax Valuation List.

Qualifications

• Educated to SCQF Level 9 which includes a degree or equivalent.
• Qualified to full professional membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS/FRICS)
• Practical working knowledge of the legislation and case law governing Council tax and Non-Domestic Rating
• Ability to travel to various locations throughout Fife

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the efficient work allocation, coordination and training of technical staff undertaking property surveys and valuations in Fife.
• Lead role in the Service for survey and valuation of properties of a more specialist nature
