Job summary

Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced District Nurse with a Specialist Practitioner Qualification to lead a locality team and contribute to the wider service offer during a supernumerary phase.

You will manage routine district nursing activities, organise workloads and rostering, and mentor students and junior staff while engaging with service changes and continuous professional development within the Practice Educator team.

Qualifications

• Must hold Specialist Practitioner Qualification.
• Experience as District Nurse or equivalent.
• Ability to mentor students and junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage routine district nursing team activities.
• Organise workload and staff rotas.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to students and junior staff.
• Drive learning programmes and role modelling of best practices.
