Pulse Nursing is offering a variety of day shifts for experienced district and community nurses in Hounslow. Our district and community nurses provide care to clients with a variety of needs within their home environment throughout the community.

Community nurses enable people across Hounslow to pursue happy and healthy lives. They prevent extra pressure on NHS hospitals by freeing up beds and caring for patients at their homes. This rewarding role puts patients and the community at the heart of everything our nurses do.

Day shifts are available from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Sunday, with hourly pay rates.

Pay rates range from £20.50 to £24.98 depending on location.

Community nurse responsibilities include:

• Providing basic care such as checking temperature, blood pressure, and breathing
• Changing catheters as required
• Diabetes care
• Ensuring compliance with documentation
• Wound management and symptom control
• Visiting a variety of clients and caring for their needs in a timely manner

Community nurse role requirements:

• Registered nurse with a current NMC pin
• A minimum of 6 months NHS experience within the last 2 years
• Valid driving license and own car
• Meet our framework compliance requirements (guidance provided)
• Opportunities to upskill for community nursing roles. Experience in A&E, ICU, medical, and surgical nursing is welcome for those looking to transition into community care.
