Band 6 District Nurse - 1.0 WTE, 37.5 hours a week.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated District Nurse to lead and develop our friendly and supportive Lichfield & Burntwood District Nursing team.
We seek a dynamic, motivated individual with the confidence to support, coach, and develop team members to deliver high-quality services. Excellent communication, time management skills, and sound clinical knowledge are essential. You will be responsible for ongoing assessment of care needs, and the development, implementation, and evaluation of care programs.
You will manage a caseload of patients while providing support and supervision for team members and students to enable the provision of high-quality, person-centred care within patients' own homes, ensuring high standards of care aligned with MPFT policies and local targets.
Essential requirements include a Degree in Nursing or equivalent and a Specialist Practitioner Qualification in District Nursing.
The successful candidate will be supported by our Lead Specialist Practitioner and Community Nurse Educator.
