Job Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 District Nurse to join our Rapid Response Service in Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire. You will work closely with an integrated team, managing and supporting senior nurses, staff nurses, and nurse associates to deliver high-quality urgent nursing care across diverse communities.

This role is suitable for a newly qualified or experienced District Nurse passionate about community nursing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent clinical skills and leadership qualities in a supportive environment.

Main Duties

The role involves 50% leadership/teaching and 50% clinical duties. It is a developing position within our locality, initially providing clinical and management support to senior nurses, with potential for line management of senior staff and team oversight.

We employ around 4,200 staff caring for patients across hospitals, health centers, clinics, GP practices, care homes, and in people's homes, including virtual consultations.
