Lindab Ltd. is seeking a Warehouse Operative to support our Distribution Manager in achieving KPIs. You will handle goods receiving, order picking, packing, and stock control while ensuring accuracy and safety in a busy warehouse environment.

You should have knowledge of warehouse operations, manual handling safety, and the willingness to work with forklifts. The role emphasizes reliability, organisation, and teamwork within a day-shift schedule.

Qualificações

• Experience in a warehouse environment or similar operational role.
• Hands-on experience with goods receiving, order picking, packing, or stock control.
• Forklift experience (Reach/Counterbalance) or willingness to train.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety and safe manual handling.

Responsabilidades

• Receive, check, and process goods in and out, ensuring quantities and quality meet standards.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch orders safely and accurately.
• Store stock, maintain inventory levels, and support stock counts.
• Operate warehouse equipment (pallet trucks, forklifts) following Safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, compliant working environment and manage waste safely.

Would you like to develop your skills in warehouse operations and have a passion for delivering safe, accurate, and high-quality work?

Then you might be the person we are looking for! Take on the role as Warehouse Operative and report to our Distribution Manager supporting KPI achievement across the team.

Your primary tasks will be

• You will accurately receive, check, and process all goods in and out of the warehouse, ensuring quantities and quality meet company standards.
• You will pick, pack, and dispatch customer and site orders safely, efficiently, and with strong attention to detail.
• You will safely store stock, maintain accurate inventory levels, and support regular stock counts and rotation.
• You will operate warehouse equipment—including pallet trucks and forklifts (Reach and/or Counterbalance) where trained-while following all Health & Safety procedures.
• You will help maintain a clean, tidy, and compliant working environment by managing waste appropriately and completing routine safety checks.

Are you our new colleague?

You are a friendly individual and have a deep knowledge of warehouse operations, including goods receiving, order picking, and stock handling. You have excellent understanding of safe manual handling and accurate stock control. You have experience of working in a busy warehouse environment, and it's an advantage if you have worked with forklifts (Reach and/or Counterbalance) or supported customer-facing trade counter tasks.

As a person you are detail-oriented and reliable. You are also physically capable and safety-conscious. In your way of working, you are organised, efficient, and committed to maintaining a clean, structured workspace.

What you bring

• Experience working in a warehouse environment or similar operational role

• Ability to work well within a team and communicate clearly with colleagues

• Salary: £27,428.18
• Hours: 7am - 4pm, Monday to Thursday and 7am - 3pm on Friday inclusive of 30-minute lunch
