Job summary

Lyreco is seeking a Distribution Team Leader for our Doncaster Regional Distribution Centre. You will support the RDC Manager in daily operations, leading a team of Delivery Drivers and ensuring accurate loading, unloading, and route sorting while delivering a high level of customer service.

You will occasionally travel to other depots (Edinburgh/Aberdeen), perform weekly vehicle checks, assist with recruitment, and maintain safety and compliance with Highway Code and tachograph rules.

Qualifications

• Must have C1 licence and CPC & Tacho card must be in date.
• Basic knowledge of Highway Code and delivery vehicle regulations.
• Basic working knowledge of tachographs and EU Working Time Directive.
• Regular contact with customers requires excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the RDC Manager to lead a team of Delivery Drivers and provide relief cover.
• Occasionally travel to other depots, including Edinburgh and Aberdeen.
• Load and unload trucks to deliver orders and maintain high customer service.
• Assist with unloading, pallet breakdown, and sortation into route order.
• Assist with random vehicle checks to ensure correct loading.
• Undertake weekly vehicle checks and report faults or incidents, and support recruitment.
