Description
As CFC continues to scale in the UK, we are seeking a Distribution Manager to oversee broker engagement in the South of England. This position will lead development and sales activity across our broker network, be responsible for building a regional distribution plan, and execute our long-term distribution strategy in the UK.
The Distribution Manager will serve as CFC's regional representative in the South and be the primary contact for key broker relationships in the region. The role involves assisting brokers in understanding and navigating CFC, establishing contact frameworks between CFC and broker partners, and overseeing regional development activities.
About the role
You will collaborate closely with our underwriting teams to understand product strategies and coordinate regional initiatives. Leveraging your regional market knowledge and broker relationships, you will focus sales efforts on high-value development opportunities to generate new revenue and expand CFC’s market share.
As a senior team member, you will contribute to evolving our sales strategy and defining technological, training, and investment needs to foster a world-class sales culture.
- Act as the main broker contact to manage trading opportunities and challenges within the region
- Design a regional distribution plan aligned with the UK strategy, demonstrated through KPIs
- Identify broker opportunities to drive regional growth and coordinate development activities accordingly
- Develop a deep understanding of broker strategies and translate these into effective product strategies for each broker
- Create opportunities for new business leveraging existing agreements, MI, and technology
- Work with underwriting to understand product capabilities and communicate propositions effectively
About you
You should have a strong interest and understanding of the UK commercial insurance market, with substantial broker-facing experience in sales or underwriting. Proven ability to establish and develop relationships quickly, and to lead through influence, is essential.
Knowledge of the South broker market is crucial, as you will serve as the dedicated point of contact for regional brokers.
You must work efficiently under pressure while maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support our growth ambitions.
