Job summary

West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Band 2 Supply Chain Distribution Officer based in Watford. You will deliver goods to wards and departments, unpack trolleys and pallets safely, marshal goods to the receiving area and sign driver documentation as required.

You will ensure secure and efficient deliveries with a strong emphasis on safety and service standards. The role covers cross-site coverage at times, full training will be provided, and core hours are 7.5 hours per day,

Qualifications

• Maths and English GCSE required.
• Basic IT skills expected.
• Working knowledge of Oracle/Integra or willingness to learn. NHS experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods to wards and departments, aiming for same-day receipt.
• Unpack trolleys/pallets safely and place in appropriate location.
• Marshal goods to receiving area and sign driver documentation when required.
