Job summary

NMS Recruit Ltd is seeking a Distribution Coordinator to join a busy logistics team in Ellesmere Port on a contract of around six months. The role focuses on coordinating deliveries, maintaining haulier relationships and ensuring orders are planned and delivered efficiently.

You will work with internal teams and transport partners to maintain high service levels, support day-to-day logistics operations and ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, transport, or distribution is essential.
• Experience with third-party logistics providers and haulier networks is advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Excel; SAP or logistics systems experience is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Commercial awareness of cost and service impacts.

Responsibilities

£17.95 per hour - weekly pay

This role is responsible for coordinating deliveries, managing haulier relationships and ensuring customer orders are planned and delivered efficiently.
