We are currently recruiting for an outstanding Distribution Centre Manager to join and strengthen our highly experienced senior management team. As a Distribution Centre Manager, you will have the autonomy and responsibility for the day-to-day site management of your depot.

Additionally, you’ll have accountability for:

• Achieving all Depot objectives in terms of Health & Safety, security, productivity, transport, and cost
• Delivering outstanding service to our customers with a team driven to be the best they can be
• Providing the safest and healthiest environment for your teams
• Encouraging a competitive environment with clearly set productivity and service level targets
• Managing the Depot through P&L via effective planning and reporting

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

• Experience in logistics or distribution industry, managing large, fast-paced, 24/7 operations with a daily throughput of 25+ and a workforce exceeding employees
• Confident communicator with leadership and strategic influence skills
• Decisive and effective decision-maker in high-pressure environments
• Passionate about building and motivating high-performing teams
• Resilient, self-motivated, flexible, and problem-solving mindset
• Alignment with DPD DNA values: Passion, Respect, Honesty, Flexibility, Hard Work, and Accountability
• Availability to cover any 5 shifts, including weekends, as depots operate year-round
• Full UK driving license required
