Job summary

Taktile, a hybrid company with global teams, is seeking a software engineer-in-training to contribute to backend and/or frontend components using Python/FastAPI, AWS serverless, React, and TypeScript. You will join daily rituals, learn from seasoned engineers, and help build the foundational layer of our product.

Ideal candidates are strong in CS fundamentals, enjoy distributed systems, and communicate clearly in English.

Qualifications

• CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, networking, distributed systems
• Fluent English communication, written and spoken
• Strong coding practices and clarity in design

Responsibilities

• Work on backend in Python/FastAPI on AWS serverless, or React/TypeScript frontend, or both
• Participate in daily stand-ups, planning, demos, and deep-dive technical discussions
• Learn from experienced engineers and contribute to foundational product layers
